Susan is a founding director of The Dawood and Tanner Specialist Dental Practice, which has exemplary specialist dental care and referral services at its core for patients of the practice and patients of a large cohort of referring clinician partners.

Implant dentistry has been championed in the practice for the last 23 years. Implants placed by Andrew Dawood and Fiona Mackillop in situations for single tooth replacement, to full arch and complex maxillo-facial reconstructions with zygomatic implants are an everyday occurrence. Restorations on dental implants are carried out by Susan who teaches and lectures regularly  at meetings and conferences,  and chair-side in the practice.

Multiple hospital appointments, a Masters Degree in removable prosthetics, specialisation in prosthodontics, and unparalleled experience in the sheer numbers of full arch reconstructions has placed Susan in an exceptional position to mentor clinicians to further their implant practices.
